Fishing: We can boast two superb Coarse Fishing Lakes set in a beautiful and tranquil part of the area. Parking facilities are available at the Lakes and the swims are established and ready for you to enjoy many hours of peaceful solitude whilst fishing for Carp, Tench, Roach and Perch - to name but a few.

Bar: The Bar can be found within our fully air-conditioned Clubhouse and offers a large selection of Beers, Traditional Real Ales, Spirits, Single Malt Whiskies, etc. Light Meals, Snacks and Refreshments are available all day. Relax in the comfort of 'easy'chairs or enjoy the warmth and atmosphere of the Patio area with stunning views towards the Purbeck Hills.

Walking: "The Dorset Resort" is situated within three hundred acres of forest and heathland. The ancient forest contains rare species of trees and, most interestingly, 500 year old coppiced oaks. For our Guests enjoyment pathways have been created throughout the forest with information boards strategically sited containing information regarding the surrounding flora and fauna. Bridlepaths also surround the perimeters of the nearby golf courses. "The Resort" is conveniently situated within a short distance of the now famous Jurassic Coastline and the Purbeck Hills, an ideal base from which to explore rocky coastlines or nearby Hardy Country.

BBQ: The newly built BBQ area allows for all the fun of alfresco dining. Set in a beautiful area of "The Resort" surrounded by pine trees and only yards from your Log Home. Special BBQ Packs are available from our Chefs upon request and BBQ coals are available from the Main Office.

Driving Range: We have a floodlit Driving Range consisting of 22 bays (12 under cover) enabling all year round practice. Fitted with best quality range mats, video equipment, etc. this is a great practice area in which to hone your game. Open from 8am to 9pm with a large bucket of balls costing just £2.50. Tokens are available from the Pro Shop (or Clubhouse when Shop is closed).

Golf Courses: The "Lakeland," "Parkland" and "Woodland" Courses offer fabulous Championship Golf for all abilities, the ultimate challenge. All our Courses have been built to the highest standards and have USGA greens and tees. Any combination of the three Courses can be played to create an exciting and different 18 holes each time you play. They are certainly Courses you will always look forward to playing and are considered 'one of the best' in the South of England. www.DorsetGolfResort.com Resort guests receive reduced green fees.

Cycling: Here is your chance to explore the forest and heathland that makes up "The Dorset Resort." There are designated cycleways throughout the estate for your enjoyment. In addition, the Purbeck Cycleway caters for cyclists of all abilities and offers a range of varying distances. The Sika Cycle Trail runs approx. 7 miles around Wareham Forest, following tracked routes. It is generally flat and is suitable for all ages and abilities. Wareham Forest cycle ways will take you through high forest and over open heathland with the chance of catching sight of the variety of wildlife that abounds in this habitat.

Restaurant: The "Fairways" Restaurant is situated within the Clubhouse. Fully air-conditioned with views across the Golf Course and of the Purbeck Hills, this is the ideal place in which to relax and enjoy the culinary delights created by our Team of talented and highly experienced Chefs. An extensive Wine List with selections from around the world will make for a memorable evening. Children are always welcome and we can cater for any special dietary requirements you may need.
