All Bedrooms are en-suite, plus each unit also has an additional Shower Room (i.e. 2 bedroom/3 bathroom or 3 bedroom/4 bathroom)

Each Log Home sleeps up to 8 persons (except "Sandbanks" which sleeps a very comfortable 6 persons)

When sleeping maximum capacity, persons 7 & 8 (or 5 & 6) will sleep on craftsman built luxury Sofa Beds in the Lounge area and have the use of additional built-in wardrobe space, plus the additional Shower Room

We currently have four different types of Log Homes available to rent at "The Dorset Resort."
"Sandbanks"
(Bungalow) with wheelchair access
A superb, luxury, single storey two bedroom holiday home. This innovative
design boasts many exciting features. An impressive Entrance with an
open Porch welcomes you, leading into the aptly named "Great Room."
The cathedral ceiling timbers are quite breathtaking and the wood-burning
stove creates a warming focal point to this living area. The whole ambience
is that of spaciousness yet cosiness and the open-plan arrangement of
Lounge, Dining area and Kitchen only adds to the effect.
"Abbotsbury"
and "West Bay"
Norwegian
designed, these Log Homes offer spacious, two storey accommodation.
Downstairs - Master Bedroom, 2nd Bedroom, Sauna, 4th Shower Room and
Utility Room. Upstairs - Lounge/Dining area, Kitchen, 3rd Bedroom and
Sun Balcony. The Utility Rooms come complete with a Washer/Dryer, etc.
and Airing Cupboard.
Both Log Homes have both ground level and 1st floor Verandas on which
to relax and unwind and both have an outside, lockable Storage Unit.
"Dorchester," "Lulworth," "Purbeck," "Poole," "Swanage" and "Weymouth"
All built
to a new Finnish design, each Log Home has enormous Balconies at both
ground and first floor levels and a lockable Storage Unit Outside. Three
large, en-suite Bedrooms and a 4th Shower Room means there is never
a queue for the bathroom! Upstairs is the large Lounge/Dining area,
complete with Satellite TV, Music Centre
and Wood-burning Stove, as standard. Kitchens are fully-equipped with
Cookers, Fridge/Freezers, Dishwashers,
Microwaves, Toasters, Cutlery, all Crockery and Glasses, Pots &
Pans, etc. etc. Again, each Log Home comes complete with its own luxury
Sauna.
"Chesil
Beach"
This is
a spacious two storey, two Bedroom Home (which can, in fact, sleep up
to 8 persons) featuring a Balcony to the first floor and veranda area
on the ground floor. Both Bedrooms are en-suite with a further Shower
Room for Guests making use of any additional sleeping arrangements.
Again, this Log Home has a spacious Lounge/Dining area and enjoys Satellite
TV, Music Centre, Wood-burning Stove and much, much more.
